Sistiana is a strategic location for seaside vacations or just overnight stays for travelers, situated near the highway and the border with Slovenia, close to Portopiccolo and the United World College (Duino), 25 km away from Trieste and the Gorizia Collio, where you can visit castles (Miramare, Duino) and enjoy walks on the Trieste Karst (Monte Hermada, Rilke trail). There are also bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the area is well-connected with public transport.
